“Everything you see is a gift from me.”
Welcome to paradise
A picture-perfect paradise on the postcard, a locked border in reality. The Hermit Front turns propaganda into a theatre of war, where the smiling posters hide the hardest line on the map.

“The United States is committing state terror and acts of aggression all over the world.”
From toy warplanes to the real ones
He was a boy in Bern under a false name, Pak-un, in a private English-language school, living with an aunt, wearing Air Jordans and drawing Michael Jordan in the margins. Classmates remember a quiet kid who talked about basketball and almost never about home.
He was made a four-star general in September 2010 without having served a day, and inherited the country fifteen months later, in his late twenties, when his father died. By 2012 he was a marshal. The boy with the toy planes now has the real ones, and the warheads under them.
The record above is real. The war on this site is not.

The postcard smiles. The border does not.

Everything is a gift
Behind the smiling posters, the Hermit Front hides the hardest line on the map. Every broadcast, every parade, every gift from the Supreme Leader is another move in the war for the East — and every soldier on the border knows exactly who they serve.
“The reality today clearly proves how just our state’s strategic choice and decision were to reject the enemies’ sweet talk and make our possession of nuclear weapons irreversible and permanent.”

One voice narrates the whole front.
“Everything you see is a gift from me.”
“Whether our adversaries choose confrontation or peaceful coexistence, that is up to them, and we are prepared to respond to any choice.”
